We had a blast this past weekend at Festival of Legends. We set up Mermaid Cove on Friday morning, the weather was perfect. By Saturday, the clouds and rain moved it. It rained ALL day. Seriously!! and it was chilly too. The brave people that made it would stopped by to visit and get some treasures. It continued to rain into Sunday morning, which was even colder, about 47 degrees. (We are tropical mermaids, so this colder weather was a bit challenging). We had alot of fun and had some wonderful musicians next to us in our other tent! Can't wait until next year!!  Just a couple more days till this fabulous festival. My Mermaid Cove will be set up again this year in the same spot (by the front gate) and we are doing appearances at 10 am, 12 pm, and 4 pm. Will have some stuff for sale and have an extra big tent this year to accommodate some fabulous musicians!!  Less than 2 weeks left until Festival of Legends and cannot wait. We will have double the space this year to allow some wonderful Musicians 'The Middle East Coast Tribe' to hang out with us and have a place to jam out when they are not performing. We will have guest musicians from Charlotte and Wilmington and it is going to be great!! Here are some pics from last years event! |
