I have been busy getting ready for NCMerfest this coming weekend! I finished my new seashell bra, I just have to add a couple pearls. The skirt was from a bellydance costume that was not selling, so I decided to give it a makeover. I removed all the crystals and rhinestones so that I can make a new costume with those pieces. I added some pearls /bead to the skirt. I also cut off the bottom and added tulle to flare out like a tail. I decided to make a pearl/bead/crystal bra top. I used the leftover skirt fabric to cover a bra base, added seaweed, pearls/beads, and netting.

NCMerfolk participated in the Cary Christmas parade this year. It was a very blustery, rainy, 46 degree day but we all had a blast! We threw Swedish Fish to all the parade watchers which they loved.
