Amara's favorite place to swim is off the coast of North Carolina and if you are lucky you will see her swimming from the Outer Banks down to Topsail Beach during the Summer months. She will occasionally swim up to shore to visit her friends and play on the beach. She collects seashells and seaweed and other treasures she finds to make jewelry and accessories to wear. She is always searching the bottom for treasure as there are several sunken ships off the Coast.
Amara is part mermaid and part human. Many years ago she met a pirate and they fell in love. She went to visit the Sea King who granted her legs so that she could spend some time on land with her true love. While on land, she learned how to dance and take photos of all things beautiful and those are some of her favorite things to do when she is not swimming in the sea. Amara has an identical twin sister named Bellafina. They are the best of friends. Bellafina loves to swim in fresh water and you might spot her around North Carolina swimming in the lakes. Her favorite is Falls Lake. She is a bit shy but loves to visit with the Summer Campers each Summer!
