Amara has been a performing mermaid since 2013. You may have seen her at The Viking Experience, The Festival of Legends, Raleigh St. Patricks Day Parade, Cary Christmas Parade, Kids Wish Network, Kraft YMCA Memorial Day Celebration, Kerr YMCA Family Night and  4th of July Celebration,  YMCA Meadowmont Labor Day Celebration, YMCA Camp Blazing Trails and Camp Rising Sun, Hope Valley Country Club Summer Camp, Mission Rescue Radiothon with KIX 102.9
