Been working hard the last couple of weeks making lots of mermaid tails. These range in size but are mostly Small and Medium sized. Will be working on some matching tops next. I just need to finish a couple more monofins and then will be all ready for Summer. These tails will be available photo shoots. More details coming soon! Made one monofin this weekend. This was NOT easy! It doesn't look very pretty, buts its done! Only 2 more to go I have been working hard on mermaid tails that will be available for photo shoots. I have made four so far and working on more this week.
I am so happy to share my new logo by Rachel Smith Illustration. She is an amazing artist and worked with me to design something unique. I highly recommend her, she communicated very well through every step of the design work and takes pride in her work. Check her out on Facebook too.
I had a fabulous time today at the Raleigh St. Patricks Day Parade despite the rainy weather. I ended up hanging out with Sally the Dinosaur and her crew (because Mermaids and Dinosaurs are BFF's you know) but we got separated from the Festival of Legends. A little rain didn't bother this mermaid. Loved being a part of it. I even made it on WRAL's website Photos by (Chris Baird / WRAL Contributor) Found the perfect size shells for my little mermaid and painted them shades of pink, gold, and some purple with glitter. Today I made the base added greenery, a pink crystal pendant, and some pearls and am all done. It is so cute!
So I decided to repaint a mermaid top I made last year. I was going to make a whole new top to match a walking tail I made for the upcoming St. Patricks Day Parade, but decided to just repaint it and add glitter. I love it even more now!!
